The decrease in mining activity during the cryptocurrency industry's bear market, provided a window of opportunity to implement changes without disrupting ongoing operations.
The objective was clear: to enhance the overall user experience, improve visual aesthetics, and introduce new features that will distinguish the platform from its competitors.
We conducted a thorough review of an old design and identified persistent issues. Subsequently, we engaged in brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate a diverse array of potential solutions. Our plan encompasses specific design objectives, a defined timeline, and an enumeration of tasks to be executed by the team.

Simplifying complexity with clear information
The wireframes were designed to clearly display important information such as current mining progress, hash rates, and earnings and make it easy for users to configure their mining settings and manage their accounts. Additionally, the wireframes included integrating the NiceHash exchange and a mobile app to enhance user accessibility and convenience.

By creating a style guide first, we ensured that all design decisions were in line with the overall aesthetic and brand of the platform, resulting in a cohesive and polished final product. Before the makeover, managing mining was only possible through direct access to the mining rig. With the new upgrade, mining can now be managed on the website and mobile apps, making it more convenient and efficient for users to monitor and control their mining operations. The redesign has resulted in an aesthetically pleasing and up-to-date platform, enhanced filtering options, a more comprehensive overview and improved navigational capabilities, thus facilitating a more streamlined and efficient user experience.
